STATE'S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

The Bennington County State's Attorney’s Office is led by Erica A. Marthage. The core mission of the office is to protect and promote public safety. The State’s Attorney’s Office seeks justice in the prosecution of criminal offenses, child abuse and neglect cases, juvenile delinquencies, mental health proceedings and some other civil matters.  We work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies, social service agencies, victims and members of the public to seek justice in the cases that are investigated and prosecuted within Bennington County.
